Hi there!
My name is Kole Cox. I'm a concept designer concentrating primarily in illustration, 3D modeling, and visual storytelling. I love exploring ideas and trying new things, particularly within the realm of themed entertainment. Growing up, my passion for creative storytelling was apparent to everyone around me. I'd spend hours thinking up story concepts and attraction ideas, doodling and writing in various journals. I'd research ways to make an idea work, sometimes failing spectacularly. But I never lost that spark of passion for storytelling or exploring new ideas.

That passion did not initially lead me to the world of design, despite my enthusiasm for the creative processes which shape immersive attractions. Instead, throughout high school I was enveloped in the world of live theater and storytelling on stage. Eventually though, that passionate spark led me to put pencil to paper and begin drawing with reckless abandon. I discovered how far I could go with hard work, and this discovery brought me to the Savannah College of Art and Design.

As a student at the Savannah College of Art and Design, I've been fortunate to collaborate on various student-led projects, including the Toronto Metropolitan Thrill Design Invitational. It is one of the most rewarding experiences I've ever had due to the intensive collaborative nature of the competition. It really brought out my passion for working with and serving other people. Every collaborative project I work on is an opportunity to learn something new, gain new friends, and help create experiences that guests will love and enjoy.

I believe that exploring the unknown alongside other dedicated explorers allows space for boundless creativity.
